The Australian National Busking Championships (ANBC) are BACK in Rutherglen on Saturday, May 13th, 2023!

This year’s event will be the second time Rutherglen hosts a regional heat, and we can't wait to invite buskers from all over Australia to battle it out in the main street!

BUSKERS

Buskers as soloists, duos and groups of all ages are welcome to play up to three 30 minute sets at busking stations up and down the traffic-free Main Street.

JUDGING

Roaming judges will evaluate and score the performances throughout the day that will culminate in an Awards Ceremony and presentation in The Star Hotel Rutherglen.

PRIZES

Prizes will be awarded in a range of categories including Open category, Primary student, Secondary student, Best Band and Special Judge’s Awards. This will be followed by an Open Mic session.
